It was a movie about giant aliens getting punched in the face by giant robots. The expectations were different than they would be for a smaller scale, harder sci-fi movie like Gravity. I was thinking something more along these lines

Rasputin. His depictions go from close but no cigar (the Alan Rickman movie) to what the hell are you doing (Anastasia.) It doesn't help that most of the info we have on him is propaganda. The account ofhis death, for example, was written by his murderer. Do you really trust him as a reliable source?
