Yeah, like, I doubt you’re holding your Wii U game pad at all times, so you still gotta pick it up, right? So just... pick up the Switch from the dock. It just slides out. It’s fully charged ready to go. There’s no transition or hurdle to go from TV to handheld. It just works.
