Even more of a reason for us to teach our kids to stop teasing and attacking one of their own for the sake of getting cheap stupid laughs. Using colorism to differentiate, and making fun of other Black kids non-name brand sneakers while passing on making fun of white kids. At the end of the day, we've done enough

"Headscratch"…. I don't know one Black man that Serena hasn't "won" with. Most of us see her as the idealistic beauty. We need to stop throwing gas on the fire of our internal civil war.

LOL! Cute….but it's time to grow up…just a little bit…

That was my point. I enjoy the articles here, but it takes very little for the comments section to break down and become a Black-on-Black civil war. What this had to do with Black men being bad is beyond me.

I know…right? I feel the same way when women use it. LOL!

You gotta run this both ways though. Our women will often run to their aid to protect and form a bond of "feminism", while hating and throwing their own under the bus. Share the love…

Very true. It's amazing how far ahead of the game Prince was. Sad part is that he was making songs like Redbone for years with no airplay or recognition. Had he released this song, most people, outside of his die-hard fans would have never heard it. Instead the critics kept waiting and expecting Purple Rain Pt. 2.

I get the attempt to spin, but Black men aren't the reason Trump is president-elect. Black feminists need to only look across the table towards white women, who were the real x-factors.

Good stuff. #2 was hilarious and I feel it. #1…meh… Plus, I'm 51 and still look righteous wearing a baseball cap backwards.

Had the only response I read had been only #4, it alone would have provided me a day full of smiles. I'm starting to have renewed faith in our Black youth.

Zingalamaduni is still one of the best hip-hop albums ever created, in my opinion. I still pull it out at least once a month and have a listen to it. The ignorance of gangsta rap prevented a LOT of good music from being recognized and heard, which was a loss for good, forward-thinking, revolutionary Black folk. Nice
