I can attest to to this. My brother was under investigation for being a pedophile. He and his wife (under investigation too) were dead by suicide within months. Honestly, I didn’t blame him (for dying by suicide).

If it helps you feel any better, I’ve always held one firm belief about pedophiles and treatment. How do you know, especially in a case of a repeat offender, they are cured?

I had this same thought—even if he went to jail for the rest of his life (highly doubtful), the damage is done, and because of the non-zero chance he could walk away from this with punishment, I kinda wish he’d do society a favor and peace out like Epstein. I was hoping the judge would’ve denied bail and make him sit behind bars until his trial. I would’ve given it about 10 minutes before someone caved his head in. 

Though now that the defendant has turned 18, he’s suddenly lost interest

Even if you assume there's some kink play that's going to be involved, I think being raped should not expected regardless of a stage persona. I mean, it is expected because of people like this but it shouldn't be.
