It’s a legit risk when filling gas cans in the bed of a truck. When they say to set them on the ground first, there’s a reason for that.

I bet if you calculated the overall emissions saved from Toyota’s hybrids across their lineup to any other manufacturer’s EV lineup, the results would be pretty interesting.

Given the scarcity and cost of batteries, I thought we all understood that it’s more efficient to make a whole bunch of PHEVs with 40 mile EV range than put all those batteries into one EV with 300 miles of range.
