Insurance does NOT prevent crashes, it only provides compensation AFTER a crash occurs. Requiring higher limits will just result in higher premiums, which will have three predictable outcomes, higher shipping costs, more uninsured operators, and more lawyers chasing big payouts. “There is NO ‘free’ money!”

I’m gonna be the “ND, someone else’s project” guy.

Is EV demand really soft, or is demand for their EVs soft? Let’s look at what they have for sale:

Regardless of the valid meaning for of this charade, I feel like using a bunch of Toyota branding to set up a fake press conference where you impersonated them would get this activist group sued into oblivion.

on some level, we all know there’s a real gap between “electrified” and “electric.”

Speak for yourself. I find him to be a loveable old rude bastard, and I would miss his ridiculousness very much. The world needs clowns, and he doesn’t take himself as seriously as you think he does.

Clarkson has been a 70 year old man for the last 25 years.

James is great. Keep him doing cooking and travel specials. Clarkson, have a nice retirement.

Is it...

I raise you slide 12:

Okay, fine.

Do NOT park in front of the air hose or the vacuum unless you are actively USING the air hose or the vacuum. Exceptions are made only if you are getting change from the person behind the bullet-proof glass. “I was completely oblivious as to where I parked while getting lottery tickets and a Mountain Dew” is NOT one of

Don’t Leaving Your Car Running”

Yeah, no...and hell no on that electric razor gear shifter nub.

I bet if you calculated the overall emissions saved from Toyota’s hybrids across their lineup to any other manufacturer’s EV lineup, the results would be pretty interesting.

Given the scarcity and cost of batteries, I thought we all understood that it’s more efficient to make a whole bunch of PHEVs with 40 mile EV range than put all those batteries into one EV with 300 miles of range.
