So many people are gonna get their cars kicked to bits. If there is one thing that cyclists are not good at it is respectfully sharing the road. Angry overreactions, on the other hand. Which does make sense, they are not relaxed, they are all pumped from the exercise so have the adrenaline flowing, and adrenaline is

This is the worst solution I have seen yet. Very impressive.

Just start paying people to train in these roles. It would take a very few years indeed. Part of the problem is demanding that people self fund their training in various ways, including via military service, and that necessarily limits the talent pool right from the very start. Pay people a living wage while they

Are we sure this was huffing. Meth has been in small towns for at least a decade now.

should never of happened”

Here we are on Jalopnik, and yet there’s no mention of the EcoBoost being no longer available with the 6 speed manual transmission. This was a phenomenal drivetrain combination with plenty of pep, but also less weight over the front wheels compared to a GT. I thoroughly enjoyed mine. It’s a shame that we can no longer

Wonderful. Now if only they made this, but with four doors. I (a gen X) and my wife (a millennial) would own one.

Well built, reliable, cars at affordable prices. They know, they just don’t like it. That is why they keep throwing in all those baubles and toys to try and distract us.

Okay, but how much for the Aston-adjacent Jag that Dalton drove in Hot Fuzz, I imagine that’s a killer deal.

Use those batteries to boost Maverick production.

I would bet 100% of the people who said yes were actually only talking about OnStar and Siris/XM radio, since as far as I am aware those are the ONLY 2 vehicle based subscription services that are even available, at least that I am aware of.

I live near Chicago, both Midway and OHare airports have been here for 70 or so years..... And every now and then, people buy a house near a flight path, and then complain and try to sue about the noise......

I love this quote from the resident “There are decibel ratings and ordinances that we have here that limit the amount of noise you can make and how far away that noise can be, and I think it’s somewhere between 60 to 80 decibels.”

This sucks, but on the pluss side. It'll only be about 47 more years until they get about 5 more miles of that high speed rail completed.

I’ve been on multiple planes that sat waiting for take-off without the AC working. I was told the APU can’t keep up with the demands on the AC system on its own on a hot day, but once it’s been taxi’d out away from the gate with the engines spooled up that shouldn’t be an issue. Maybe with engines at idle + APU there

In Bauhaus we Trust.

Flightaware shows it was a 757 too (so none of the planes in the header image). There had to be some air since the plane was planned to fly at 35000', and it can’t pressurize without packs - the same things that provide AC. I normally stop short of blaming the crew, but it’s tough to imagine why the Captain didn’t

Better interior, better handling, safer, better tech, better fuel economy, rubber parts that are still flexible and able to seal, and all with a full warranty. Plus the Elantra will be worth a lot more than $2500 after you put 20k miles on it

Still daily driving my 2004 Neon SRT-4. I bought it new in the fall of 2003, and it’s got over 240K miles on it now. Such a fun little car! This was last winter:
