I have a Volvo sedan and a ford SUV I use for work. I recently upgraded the Volvo to a new one and was appalled that it didn’t have Android Auto. It has android automotive with Apple car play, but all I can do with my phone is Bluetooth it in.

I was 6 years old when my parents bought a new Chevy and we drove to California from the east coast to see Grandma and grandpa. Pretty much went 4 hours between gas/potty stops at a clip. Stayed one hotel night on the way out. Took more time coming back including going to the Grand canyon.

I think they should have nacs as well. I think having more connections is better than not, and the incremental cost is negligible.

My issue is when you need public charging, it's going to be more of an edge case. I'd rather it at a 24 hr location to get a bathroom. I remember doing a drive from MA to Florida in a Tesla model S. The superchargers were across the highway from the 24 hr truck stop. It was annoying and added time to a stop.

Because there are still Nissan leafs running around.

You do realize the C6 has a special composite leaf spring in the rear, not stacks of steel ones like a truck. It's a very clever design and use of space.

The cargo space about doubled. So in convertible you could pack a change of underwear, in the coupe you could also stuff in a pair of socks

Ugh, this stretch of rt 1 is an amazing disaster. I both love and hate it. It’s a 6 lane 55 mpg highway with stores and malls that have driveways right onto the highway.

I always thought Hoboken was just where that cute little penguin that bugs bunny brought all the way to Antarctica was actually from.

My wife and I drove straight through. Usually only grab food to drive with. Done Jacksonville 3 times in 20 hours. Can do Miami in just over 24. Admittedly, it was an older model S 75. But charging took on average 40 minutes to get to 80% which was the recommended charge point. Only ever charged at superchargers. Got

A phev uses 1/4-1/5 of the battery of a full electric. It can provide 90% of the daily use as full electric.

Imagine how many of these ford could cobble together if the lightning and mach e weren't soaking up all the battery capacity

Eh, my expedition is rated for 18 combined, and I get slightly over that.

It's a closed course. Other countries have kids racing flat out karts at younger ages. It's not age, it's experience, which it's better to get in a controlled environment

Don’t race on public roads, take it to the track.

In MA, electricity is up around $0.32/kw

I'm getting some weird 80s alfa Romeo vibes here

The steam and hot water literally come out of boreholes in the ground under pressure. There’s an array of different turbines as they expanded over the decades. It generates power and hot water purely from underground hot water. It’s never “heated”, unless it might be at times reheated by fresh steam from the ground.

New, I’d probably go gti, although I’d take a run at finding a gr Corolla... But it's kinda cramped
