Came across this working on a 45 minutes talk. It was just enough going on to not let my brain freewheel, but it let me work on lines of reasoning. Better than listening to classical music by far (although my wife thinks I’m nuts)

Using an app to supplement the keys is great. I was able to leave movie tickets in my Volvo for my brother. He texted me...I unlocked the car...he got the tickets...I relocked the car....he came in. Another time it was freezing and we were headed back to the car. 10 minutes ahead....started warming the car. Got there…
It’s a sometimes third row. Flat shapes aren’t comfy, but the pack well and give max cargo room.

*if the lidar failed...the system should recognize that and park itself safely or notify the human to drive it home...not start mowing humans down
I once hit a deer with about the same amount of warning. But I was able to get from 35 down to 15. Why weren’t the high beams on? The lidar doesn’t need visible light....no reaction from braking or steering. Even the system Volvo ships with the car would have had some response...if Uber didn’t disable it.
