iOS 11 definitely drained my battery on my 5s. I recently purchased an SE, and it works perfectly without killing my battery.

I disagree. Newer, feature-rich software updates require faster processing - something older models struggle to support. Same thing with “traditional” computers.

iOS 11.xx works great on my SE.
