velcro does wonders. you can wrap up longer cables, and velcro them, and then depending on how thick, maybe bundle a couple of the cables together. You could even secure the velcro to the backside of the desk to keep things hidden.

Dont use zip ties. just get this. Cut to whatever length you need.

grab velcro ties. They are inexpsive (~10 bucks for 100) and you will have enough left to wrap unused cables.

Cable management isn't expensive, just takes a bit of time. I strongly recommend using velcro ties. Here are the ones I use.

Plastic Conduit or Zip Ties, or a large wooden box with 2 inch holes bored in it as cable pass-thru's.
