How long does it take to actually get W10 to install? I've had the free upgrade notice in my taskbar since it came out but any time I click it I just get a notice saying I will get a message when my upgrade is ready to install. I'm not super eager to switch from W7, but I know the free upgrade period is ending soon

Did Sony/Naughty Dog ever actually say U4 was going to be the last Uncharted game? I thought they just said it would be the end of Nate’s story, not the end of the series outright. To me the epilogue chapter in U4 seemed to naturally open the door for Cassie to take the reigns, if/when the series is to continue.

The whole thing smacks of them thinking gamers were just going to throw money at them purely on dev name recognition and industry star power and for using some trendy buzzwords. I don’t care who the devs are if the pitch video is as dull as the one for this game was.

Why does anyone give credence to Steam user reviews? The vast majority, both positive and negative, are snap judgments from people who play games for a few minutes. Just because this game has a high average of positive reviews doesn’t mean it’s good or successful. Most of these “simulator” games are lousy, they just

I agree. When the Clueless Gamer sketch first started it was hilarious, because Conan actually tried to review the games knowing absolutely nothing while Aaron Bleyaert would try to explain the storylines and play the perfect straight man. He'd point out absurd glitches and tropes that gamers have learned to ignore,

I don't know. None of this sounds like actual lore links. To me it all just seems like Easter Egg cameo-type stuff for Ubisoft game fans to pick up on and read deeper into than necessary.

SteelSeries already did something similar with the Sensei, the mouse I’m using this very moment. It has an LCD screen, which is actually great because it lets you customize all of the DPI and other settings and save profiles directly on the mouse without needing to have their software installed and running in the

Why buy the game in the first place? The Steam page for all Ubisoft games labels the requirement for uPlay, so you easily could have avoided hassling with the refund process. I totally agree with your larger point though. uPlay is the lone reason I don’t play Ubisoft games on PC (except for Grow Home, which

I agree 100%. I thought the first three Halos had merely okay campaigns—fun gameplay but some of the level design was tedious and overall the story and main character were bland (sorry, the Master Chief in the games is just a generic empty vessel super soldier to me and I've never understood why he's become regarded

If this gets you excited, check out the new book The Art of the Lord of the Rings. I just started reading it and it's full of Tolkien's own hand drawn maps, sketches, manuscript doodles, runes, etc he did while writing the books.

This actually isn’t the first Ty game in 10 years. Ty 4 is a renamed Steam rerelease of a game that came out a couple years ago for Windows 8 PC/Tablet. (I think there was an iOS mobile game sometime before that as well, but yeah, not sure that one counts.) Still, it's good to see Ty back in some form—obviously most

Depp’s performances in movies like Blow, From Hell, and Public Enemies were great, I thought, and none of those were over the top caricatures.
