18:30: I remember seeing “Panama” when it aired and it blew my mind. Take out DLR, replace him with some Hammond and it changes the tune completely.   And EVH just making everything look absolutely effortless and the whole band just having a blast.

Yeah, this hit me hard and I’m not a huge fan or anything. But it’s Eddie Van Halen! He should just keep rocking forever, dammit.

There’s no such thing as someone who “looks like a pedophile.”

People like what they like, comedy is subjective, whatever whatever, but: multiple specials to Iliza Schlesinger... truly upsetting.

Jesus, didn’t he play a pedophile in the first season of Workaholics as well?

“Hold my beer”

“Okay, let’s see what Louis CK is watching tonight. Wait, why is he fiddling with his belt ... Oh God!”

a documentary about the airliner, Boeing, and the people who have died for Netflix

I mean... you may not care for Dunham but he certainly has a right to protect his intellectual property. My social media feeds have been inundated with ads for face masks with Baby Yoda and Schitt’s Creek on them and I’m pretty sure they aren’t officially licensed either.

Generally speaking, the show just isn’t must see quality this season. The acting talent is great. The story, not so great. The production and direction apart from some good CGI, is almost amateurish for this scale of an HBO production.

The only scenario I can see Saul dying is if its on his terms and it yields something big, like turning Yevgeny into an asset along with getting the flight recorder. The season will not end with Yevgeny winning and Carrie becoming his asset. She played him in S7, wouldn’t be surprised if she has some bigger game in

I am loving this running gag of Jake’s trials against Wario. Which Mario game is he playing again? All of them?

Extreme digital cinema is awesome. You’ll never get just how extreme it is until you go there for yourself. Before you even get into the building, you’ll be pulling up into the:

Now I have to go seek out a DVD of Splash so Darryl Hannah’s sweet can will be displayed as Ron Howard intended.

Daryl Hannah’s butt is literally the ONLY thing that I remember about Splash. It awoke me from my oblivious childhood slumber at precisely the right time.

The biggest thing to me is that TLJ made a sincere attempt at originality.  TFA was a homage wank, through and through.  It had NOTHING laid out except some very easily guessed ideas.  Johnson’s biggest sin was his refusal to snort some powdered ‘member berries before putting together his movie.  Nostalgia is poison.

AMC posted some great behind-the-scenes videos on their Youtube channel. The second one in particular is awesome.

That alien face on the book cover staring at me did not make me feel good when we lived in an isolated farmhouse.  I think I was like 9 when I read it?  That shit was scarier than Stephen King.

Oh boy, I get to suggest the weird independent film I saw almost 20 years ago.
