AND... it had thee best split-second pause in cinema history:

Well, hello ASAC Hank Schrader. Great introduction of two classic characters from Breaking Bad, and Hank’s rapport with Gomie was just flash-forward like in how natural, effortless, and of course entertaining as always.

Favorite moment of the night—-the officer deadpanning:

“You never washed dishes. You just saw someone wash dishes and thought I’d be good at that.”

This is the kind of movie you can reboot. The original wasn’t great, isn’t considered iconic and there’s lots of ideas here that the original squandered.

Yes, you don’t remember?  Their couple name was “Teri-Tino.”

There is a lot of time to fill in and hackiness takes up some of it.  I mean Dave was always doing the “hello nurse” thing and the “you’re dating that nerd?” thing...the real news is that QT took Dave being hacky sometimes so seriously.  What better evidence that Dave hit a raw nerve, but seriously if Dermot Mulroney

Zack Morris never disliked the poors: they and all marginalized groups were just tools for his schemes.

This sounds to me to be the work of Chief of Staff Lisa Turtle.

If only G/O Media had a sports site to cover this.

The best part was when the inn keeper didn't realize he was trying to but information and just thought he was a big tipper.

Holy fuck, I’d shoot at a bus full of nuns from a helicopter to hear the record he did with JSBX. Way to go, Universal. What, no one put these on a hard drive somewhere?

Maybe he was just being a shitty human being as research for a book he's writing.

I had floor seats once and they are very close together, and not movable. If Reynolds had been next to me they would have had to call security! Unfortunately all I had was a camera sitting on my shoulder all night.

Some people really seem to genuinely hate him, but I think most people are just “meh” on him. However, he gets a seemingly disproportionate amount of press coverage for his dating life, mental state, and any dumb-ass thing he does, so a lot of people who would otherwise be happy to ignore his existence as “SNL also-ran

I’m still a little baffled that Marvel didn’t schedule another Hulk movie after Avengers, when Ruffalo’s Hulk was received so positively. I know they’d struck out twice before with Hulk movies, and I know there’s issues with the rights being shared with Universal, but still...leaving one of their most valuable

Bounty hunting to Mandalorians is akin to missionary work for Mormons? I like it.

Some people are complaining about the lack of story, but I’m just enjoying the heck out of this. I don’t need serious drama in my Star Wars. Anyway, pour one out for the disintegrated Jawas, but that’s what you get for messing with a Mandalorian’s ride. At least the survivors got to go crazy with their egg. That must

I guess this is as good of a place as any to vent about my mixed feelings towards discovering that Deadspin actually appears to have been shuttered. I had intentionally refused to click on any articles post-Sudden Departure (see how I stick to TV by dropping The Leftovers references?) but my muscle memory still causes

Now playing

But my personal MVP of “Chapter One” was, unsurprisingly for anyone who knows me, was Werner Herzog, who simply loves playing a villain and will seemingly take any bad-guy role he can get.

... and I’m genuinely surprised that New Girl is ranked more than 10 places higher? I mean, like many others I loved both shows, and there was most likely a large overlap in viewership ... and yet I would have bet that most fans/critics of both would rank Happy Endings as the superior show ...
