I feel like manager is a euphemism for pimp as some have already been busted for prostitution.

With or without you, Times Square is boring. Also, why do the Desnudas have pimps?

Well that is stupid. Older women are barren. That is a fact. If they are ashamed of it. They should talk to god/science (whoever they feel like blaming aging on).

Yeah, more accurately would be, waiting till most women are barren means you likely will also be barren.

These bikes aren’t dual sport bikes. Dual sport bikes have turn signals and brake lights. If you are riding in mass and pulling wheelies you are a dangerous squid who won’t be missed when you crash.

Bike accidents are more likely to leave the parties involved dead because they don’t have a rolled steel cage protecting them.

That is a hot take. By calling their opposition taxpayers, the implication is that the opposition already does quite a bit to help them. Baltimore has some of the highest levels of unemployment and welfare.

No, you are not right.

Yeah and if they were doing it within the bounds of the law, I wouldn’t give a shit, but doing illegal things that cause injury to themselves and others does irk me. It isn’t a personal problem. It is a problem for everyone who can’t safely use the public streets because these squids (term for irresponsible bikers)

Hey man, this isn’t about safety. It is about oppression. Being wildly unsafe in your neighborhood is the number 1 way to combat oppression.

I am operating under the same information as the author. Except I might have more experience as I lived in Baltimore for a while. If she had sources or interviews, they would be in the article. It would be like you watching Straight outta of Compton and deciding they were rapping because they supported Lenin’s

The author is incorrect. Her level of incorrectness would be funny if it wasn’t her job.

You gleaned incorrectly. Anyone doing this in a large group is a “12 Oclock boy.” It is like describing kids who skateboard as skaters.

Because 12 O’clock Boy is a term to describe the people who do this sort of unsafe driving, not an actual specific group.

The only community they interview are people who actually do the biking. Baltimore residents who own cars do not like people driving unsafely.

The street racers made the mistake of being not black and not telling people it is because oppression. If they were racing against oppression, this would fine I’m sure.

Based on the number of likes, I assume the majority of people agree that riding uninsured and dangerously isn’t safe. It is also illegal through state laws that have existed for ages.

Since the documentary has a bunch of bikes being stolen, I am not sure you can register or insure them. Also, doing stupid shit and getting injured still costs and unreasonable amount of money (in increased premiums) to the insurance pool.

You could say you are street racing against oppression. That way they would write a think piece about it instead of talking about how you are wildly dangerous.

But it isn’t. The author has literally only watched the same documentary as I have. The rest is conjecture. If she had interviews, maybe her idea would have merit.
