Because that’s exactly what motorsport needs: more sexism and misogyny. What a joke.

I get to experience it every single year. There is no experience rmote powerful than standing on the starting line of a race at the Isle of Man TT. I don’t know if it’s the added tension of such a dangerous race, the start format, with the riders going off one at a time with a tap on the shoulder from the starter, or

Screw roads - what about speed skating on one of the world’s most historic race circuits?

New S1000RR, new ZX-10R, new GSX-R, R1, RSV4, 1198R - no new supersport machines... Heard a rumour of a new R6 soon, but with the superbike market only getting back on its feet in Europe it'll be a few years before we see middleweights following I reckon!

And Canada, Australia, the UK, the Netherlands, Turkey, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi, Jordan, and the leftovers of the Syrian Air Force...

Busy place.

Spot on review but one slight correction Justin - the Aston crash wasn’t shot at their private testing track, it was shot on the Millbrook Proving Ground’s Alpine Course, which is an industry facility originally built by GM. It makes regular Top Gear appearances!

A hire car...

Well known adage in the MCN office that the only people who use Kreiga are journalists and all-year-long bikers. Proper hardcore stuff!

Brake failure. Has to be. Best explanation I could get (I spent the weekend asking a whole paddock) was that the disc cracked and caught the caliper.

I was completely unimpressed with it. It’s not made for MotoGP fans, it’s made for business travellers who’ve ran out of everything else to watch on the in-flight entertainment...

TripIt. Would be lost without it - my one stop shop for reminding me of all my flight and train times, hotels, meetings, etc

I’m always really confused as to how the TT is known pretty much only as ‘the most dangerous race in the world.’ Yes, there’s been 200 fatalities - but since 1907!

Just been at the Isle of Man TT for two weeks - there's nothing more fun than sliding a Merc Sprinter around the outside of a fool on a sports bike who doesn't know where he's going!

So, ladies and gents; here’s a question: if I were to fly into Seattle and out of LA again, who will hire me something worthy of the journey?

The bike dropped a valve, started to pump oil into the airbox, and it all went from there. I was in the garage with them afterwards and there was a hole burned through the airbox a drinks can would have fit through.

Heard all sorts of horror stories about how strict TSA are, so was pretty shocked to discover my multi tool (with three inch razor sharp blade) in my carry-on after going through security at JFK last month...

Yep! I'm one of their sports reporters

Going to try and do it again this year with him

I shot and edited that video series :)
