Adding a feature that was promised to be there at launch two years later is “maintaining a game” now?

I don’t think telling any developer to follow this model is a good idea. Sure they are pushing free updates which is great. But its only because they borderline scammed millions of people into buying a fraction of what they promised. Multiplayer was supposed to be in the game 2 years ago, when they said it was there.

From my experiences in education, I will tell you that the “Women in X” problem will never be solved unless you stop trying to treat groups as homogeneous monoliths.

It’s not bethesda game if you are not required to use console command to finish a quest at least once in a play through.

I hope I’m not the only person who eats this shit up. I love watching a highly skilled person execute a game to perfection, but watching games totally deconstructed like they are in TAS videos absolutely fascinates me. The amount of time, effort, dedication and game-knowhow that goes into these things is staggering.

But the outrage is pretty much all based on what you said in the final paragraph. Everything you said before that is rather meaningless.

I actually get the distinct opposite impression. I think that the “sprint to the center of the galaxy” is only there because people kept asking “What’s the point/objective of the game?” where the developers just wanted to make a game where you could explore planets.
