An odd thing that I think has hurt VW is that people still ask me if my VW is a diesel. I feel like it’s been decades since that big campaign about the benefits of VW diesels and non-car people still associate them with having diesel engines. I usually fill up at a Stop & Shop gas station near my work.

Using the Sam’s Club card for gasoline gives me 5% back (NOT 5 cents per gallon) on any gas purchased ANYWHERE, up to 5000 gallons. The money is in Sam’s Cash, but it makes a difference as I do plenty of shopping at Sam’s Club.

Hmmm.... no BP stations anywhere near me.  Am i lucky?
