That’s what I was thinking. It’ll do fuckall for the amount of diesel exhaust that gets pumped into the CA environment. People will just buy them someplace else and drive them there.
LMAO, Tom woke up and chose violence today with this rec. Is there proof anywhere of someone LS-swapping a TourX? Won’t deny it sounds like a riot, but it also sounds like something a lot more complicated than “assume someone will charge 40 grand to do it”.
Does that just mean you can’t buy one in CA, or will they stop you at the border or impound/ticket your RV if they catch you there?
What kind of vehicle-miles traveled are we talking about... and how many of them involve California-registered RVs vs. ones from out of state visiting California (and spending money there)? That’s what separates optics from substance.
Yup, I’d file this under “don’t you have bigger problems”. Maybe it’s just virtue signaling.

Broke into his house while he was home, took his wallet and keys then stole his car. And the solution is to replace the car with something less flashy and hope the thieves ignore it?
Trump’s brain is literally dementing. I dont think he makes it through 4 years. Dementia accelerates. My guess is he will get removed and JD will take his place and then the billionaires will pick the new vp or they will put in someone pointless and the vp position will go back to being the meaningless position it…
Rounding up millions of people based on citizenship/ethnicity, shoving them into rail cars, and shipping them to a nice, friendly, walled camp/no-mans-land at the border. Why not both?
Or wrapped around a lightpost.
They’ll all be stolen soon, don’t worry.
Seems like they should at least use the same container format used in every other form of freight transport.
Question for anyone who knows more about this -- Japan has one of the most iconic passenger rail systems in the world (the Shinkansen). Is their rail freight system less developed/invested in, or does demand for freight capacity just happen to scale a lot faster than demand for passenger capacity?
One fully loaded 18 wheeler and it’d crumble immediately
Nearly 100 years underwater and still looks to be in better shape than many of our “modern” bridges.
It was a pretty horrible car, my brother in law bought one and has had nothing but problems and spent more time at the dealer then at their house while it was under warranty. It even left them stranded in the middle of texas hours away from any family and the dealer wouldn’t even get them a rental/loaner even though…
For every $50 fine paid, $17 goes to the city, and $33 goes to the camera company.
