I’m surprised no one mentioned that the state sales tax in NJ is 6.625%. Where in the hell did this crook get 8.88%??? Did he think it would bring the buyer good luck?

I give you Sheehy Lexus in Annapolis, MD... Last week my mother went looking for an RX350h and they flat out refused to remove the charge. The reasoning “Well, it’s already on the car!”

And this is why I don’t smoke. Not because I carry lot of propane in my car.

oh yeah, it is crazy how bad it can be for employee’s in other states. My wife has been a remote worker since 2010 and her company was bought and sold a few times. The last buyout put the HR and main office in Florida.

The salesman for my first travel trailer gladly told me about “the meth’d up Amish”. That’s what they called the guys who build them. He said they just bang them out as fast as possible without regard for anything but production numbers because they were suppose to do so many a day, and they were gakked on meth all

This is what people who complain about government/oversight/taxes don’t realize...you get something in return. People are like “I don’t get how you can live in Massachusetts with all those taxes”*. Which is fine if you don’t care about things like good schools, a strong social safety net, clean water, etc.

We are on our second Travel Trailer, Paid cash for both and bought both used.

The crazy part is that considering all of the shit you have to pay for on Spirit (and Frontier, for that matter), if you’re doing anything more than a last minute flight somewhere with just the clothes on your back and shit in your pockets, the majority of Spirit destinations are served by Southwest, and you end up

yes, but pointing and laughing is definitely ok

No matter what you think of the truck or anyone who buys them, yelling profanities at him, giving the guy the finger and spitting on/scratching his property makes you as bad if not worse of a person.

No, that was another Tesla Truck owner in New England, Nantucket I think? Can’t be bothered to look now, but that was also profiled on Jalopnik recently.

Saw one in the Costco parking lot yesterday. They look so much worse in person.

The true(er*) measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good - Samuel Johnson (I think)

Might go back but I would be 100% ghosting and job hunting.

I totally agree with your sentiment, but you got to remember these guys are probably working in CA and have like $5k/month rent or insane mortgages plus other bills. It can easily take 3-6 months to find a new job, too. I remember that Chargepoint also had layoffs this year, so it’s not like there is a huge demand

There’ no fucking way I would go back to a company that fired me on the whims of a child. This is the kind of business strategy you get from a guy whose reaction to opposition is ‘Go fuck yourself’, or as he put stupidly put it, ‘G. F. Y.’

Which is an excellent reason to safely move and create some significant distance between your car and these unstable death traps if you see them in the wild.

Man, oh, man how I hate this argument, simply because nearly everyone gets it wrong. You aren’t innocent until proven guilty. You are presumed innocent until proven guilty. That one word makes a big difference.

“In this country, you’re innocent until proven guilty” which is why I pulled a gun on an innocent man until he proved he wasn’t guilty. Flawless victory.

“And everybody knows what’s going on in this country with fentanyl and child trafficking and rape. Terrible stuff.””

Ah yes, those child traffickers who famously return children to their homes safely.
