So many of us just do what we are ‘supposed’ to do. I sometimes wish I had done the same as she did. It’s not so easy when your 60. I wish her peace and joy.

Recently, on my family tree on ancestry, I found my family members where the husband was fighting in the civil war. The wife was home with a child and 6 slaves. I saw the census with the ages and names of all persons in that home. I was shocked to say the least. Really sad, too.
