This is fantastic!! I hope this heralds a new era in Kuwait :)

I absolutely agree! This totally distracts from other issues that need to be dealt with!

@indianajane: You are totally correct - it is about 30% non muslim. We here in the US always confuse "syrian" with "muslim" but really, many in the christian community are dealing with the same conservative mindset! This is more of a cultural issue than a religious issue.

Look, I'm a Syrian Muslim woman and I would say the truth is somewhere floating in the middle. Women both want to and are encouraged to wear sexy lingerie (after they're married of course) for many reasons. First, because putting on a cute outfit makes you feel attractive. Second, the beginning of the marriage

My favorite Ashley comment was after Taya fell off the stage and everyone felt so bad for her. Then Ashley goes "If you're gonna date a rock star you better get used to falling off the stage biiiiiiitch" in an awesomely bored tone.

I grew up in and still live in Philly. I fear that I too have the accent :) By the way did you know that Philadelphia has the quickest evolving patois in the country?

@mllej if you're nasty: It was painful initially and then I learned the trick. Ask for ice packs when you get there and then just leave the ice pack on the area for about 5 - 10 min and it doesn't hurt at all.

I lasered it all off except for a landing strip. costly but totally worth not worrying about it anymore.

@LadyFabulous: right on girl. I'm muslim. and arab. I am a lawyer at one of the top firms in the country. People FREAK out when they find out I'm the dreaded A-rab. Like, oh you were normal when you ordered that martini two minutes ago but now you're a lunatic.

@Mrs. Cannon: I'm in Philly too and I'm going to the 7:30 PM at the Riverview!!!! so excited.

I never thought I would say the words "good job on that smackdown Chris Matthews"

@Yanee: say it loud sista! I am totally agreed in every possible way, and I have been to the Middle East a number of times

I can't decide what makes me crazier. Male Pro-life groups leaders or women (Men make up like 80% of pro-life group leaders). Men are ridiculous because hello? you'll never be the one who shoulders the responsibility for the unwanted child and ps. you'll never be pregnant. how dare you tell me what to do with my body

@rednrowdy: amen sister!!! I made a rule to stop dating men that I would have thought were hot in college, and presto, all the assholes disappeared. Coincidence? I think not.

I wear Michael by Michael Kors, which is intensely floral and smells like the Middle East, summer flowers and sex all rolled into one. For the winter its Chanel Allure Sensuale, a muskier sexier version of regular allure.

@BitchIsTheNewBlack: oh my god, I laughed out loud when I read your comment. I always thought your body is a wonderland was the #1 pantydropper song I've ever heard.

Definitely Manji. I'm Muslim and believe you me I don't follow any of the stricter tenets (I too love the pre marital "relations") but I still associate Islam with home and my family and grandparents and holidays. Am I wrong when I say that basically most of the christians and jews are the same way, not overtly
