Tom: That’s 5, bitch.

Wouldn’t the evidence of protest “working” be the actual policy change (which neither happened nor does it appear to have it increased in likelihood of happening)?
The headline suggests that he’s the one that called it a “distraction” but I don’t think this is an example of the usual “coach downplays seriousness of a rape because basketball is more important” thing. The reporter ASKED if it was a distraction, and he basically responded, “Yes it is, but the police’s work in…
But they didn’t, did they? You don’t win a gold medal for “the next guy was fast too.”
He has made it more than clear that he doesn’t ant to discuss politics at all, I am not sure why we are so insistent on getting the political views of a guy who throws a football well.
“Uhhh yeah, I know”
“I’m a raging asshole” suspiciously absent from Talib’s explanation.
It’d be nice to see an actual football discussion on here about Penn State and not some stupid, internet neckbearded, mama’s basement dwelling idiots. Look we get it, Sandusky was bad. JoePa was bad, Larry Moe and Curley were bad. And they are all gone and there is nothing anyone can do about it. I hate it and them…
But you can’t time warp teams. Which makes your entire point extremely idiotic.
Or its because the “reporters” who cover the game dont actually know enough about the game to ask one of the best coaches in the game a question about the game in the short time they have to ask him questions. Maybe viewership is down because viewers are sick of Smiley, Biff, Dickbreath, UnemployedCoach, Other Biff,…
“Therefore, policies and regulations that raise rents by creating artificial shortages in housing supply may have particularly concerning distributional consequences.”
You fucking lost
With respect, it’s telling people to go fuck themselves and they are clueless is partly want got us here.
Honey, please. “Professional women writers”? lol.
“check your privilege” that’s funny, the guy may have had a point up until then... but as soon as Bergen said that, if I was sitting at that table I would totally start laughing at him, loudly.
Benger starts yelling about how Kassouf is verbally abusing him, and then shouts, “Check your privilege!” multiple times
In speaking with friends and acquaintances who are faculty members and administrators at Harvard....most of the students see the loud marching and protesting by the workers as an annoyance and have not banded together to side with the workers.
This continues to suck. Peak Tiger was better at pretty much everything that today’s younger star generation is. Take the best attributes from the top young players, combine them, and that’s what Woods was—all in one package.
Unfortunately for the workers, Harvard can simply switch over to a program that hires students to work in the dining hall, with their pay going towards their tuition. Many colleges across the US do this. Which means that a guy like Tommy from Charlestown, who prepares the fresh fruit, is easily replaced by a student…
