agreed its a meaningless joke metric for female characters anyway, that does not reflect their actual richness and fullness as a character.
But at the same time, we don’t just want to see the same thing time after time, like A New Hope 2.0. We want the story to continue and move on, for the universe to grow.
DS9 Worf is like the son of Kahless compared to TNG Worf though.
Who cares about the Bechdel Test at this point. The lead is a female.Yay. If it didn’t pass the Bachdel Test would it be...less of a movie? (also if your talking about the gawker article, the author didn’t actually see the movie and was trolling?)
That logo on his chest makes him look more like a Captain White Castle
On a Gawker site? Unlikely.
He does. Clearly you’re not one of the chosen few who can see his true visage.
I honestly think Crystal Skull is a better movie than Temple of Doom and Last Crusade (the worst of the bunch).* Also, Phantom Menace is about on par with Return of the Jedi.
I wouldn’t say I loved the Crystal Skull, but I will say I enjoyed it. I know I certainly prefered it to the Temple of Doom.
Weren’t the prequels pretty much loved immediately after they came out?
Hate to be the pessimist but after this article: http://www.gamesradar.com/star-wars-epis…
I am blue in it, a little bit. I put my foot down as much as I could.
Yeah, the whole argument that wanting the original contents to remain true = pedophilia is ridiculous and have no connection. It’s like saying those who love shooting/killing games/gore are murder loving psycho/sociopaths.

I rather wish that, instead of introducing the War Doctor — no offense to John Hurt — that they’d just gone with McGann’s 8th doctor as the one in the Time War.
They cast a different guy to play Will Smith’s kid too, almost like it’s a pretty common thing in Hollywood.
Just speculation from me, but I imagine he turned it down after the producers laughed at his demand that Jayden play his adopted son.
I’m surprised he decided against returning. That movie launched his career to another level and he’s weathered some box office disappointments in recent years.
The thing that bugs me is that people basically refuse to acknowledge that there’s problems with either decision.
