It’s imperial bullshit that people are offended by it. All sorts of religious folk would have issues with the way many women dress, but it’s obviously wrong to tell women to ‘just cover up so as not to offend’. It’d be like Orthodox Jews getting pissed that I drive my car around on Sabbath, or Catholics getting aggro

That’s the real question. Davis was the best player this season, hands down. But can you call a guy ‘most valuable’ if his team barely broke .500? At some point, you have to factor in the team’s success, even though it doesn’t necessarily measure the skills of the player in question.

Because 30 points on 30 shots and 10 freethrows is bad.

Fire.

Some people might say he needs to maintain it, but I think it’s fair to say that he’s the best shooter of all time right now. He’s got a top 3 career 3pt percentage while chucking up two or three times as many threes per game as the other guys on your list. The level he’s at right now is so far above Reggie and Ray

So, though? There are tens of millions of cars that already operate similarly, and when one of those is involved in an accident while piloted by someone under the influence, nobody sues the automakers.

Thank fucking god.

Wow, how’d they make their own game in KOTOR?

Wow, you’re totally right. Unless that’s a glitch in the video, where Jordan’s pinky’s small/fast enough not to show up until it’s hit the ball, it looks like it was going to roll back in before the tap.

DJ’s the major reason the Clippers were in this thing. He was the best player for the Clippers tonight. Without him, Duncan, Diaw and Parker run fucking wild in the paint, the Clippers probably don’t pull out baskets on those two lobs he threw down. And there are only 3 or 4 guys in the league who would’ve been able

Eh... they would’ve had to run it up and get a good shot in 4 seconds, and while Paul could pull that off, they’d have to get it to him first, and Kawhi and Green would’ve been hot on his heels, since he goes past them (towards the baseline) trying to get the rebound.

Like the other guy said, it’s a relic from the era where one giant dude could just stand near the rim and tap in half the shots.

Chris Paul’s always been that way, but he looked more honest before he had the facial hair.

It doesn’t matter, but that shot wasn’t going in without the help.

If someone told me that Duncan blocked Griffin in the last minute of a tight game, I would imagine a sly help-defense, tap the ball away kind’ve a block. That play, though? Oreos.

This is the appropriate level of respect to bring to a post-game presser.

The one Anthony Davis hit against the Thunder this season.

Did you miss the foul on the three that put the game into overtime?

God help him. Davis deserves a good team. As awesome as he’s been to watch on this tirefire, imagine if he was on the Heat, or the Bucks, or the Celtics, or any team with a halfway decent cast. He doesn’t need to land on the Spurs, but if he had a good PG and a few quality shooters, he’d be terrifyingly good.

I don’t think it was incredibly lopsided, but there was a series of bullshit calls in the Pelicans’ favor at the end of the 4th-into overtime.
