Downloaded it through this offer, and I've had no trouble running it on Windows 7 so far. Only issue I've had is that alt-tabbing makes the window smaller and can only be fixed by changing it to a different resolution then back.

Try northern part of the east coast. Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas are all used to hurricanes, so a category 1 is nothing. People don't even leave home for these. The difference is that New York is nowhere near as prepared, that's why it's such a big deal.
