There are in-game micro-transactions, but they've already said that they will have no effect on gameplay whatsoever. I played in the first beta weekend as well, and it was absolutely amazing.

I would love to see the Wii U renamed. Not only because it's a terrible name, I just knew the second they announced it that it would cause customer confusion among the casual gamers. I had to explain to my brother-in-law that it was a whole new console, not an "add-on"
