Good comment. I was kid in the 80's when light was right across the board. When “we” got deeper in to the 90's, I noticed that light was still right for black women and other women of color. I often joke that the 80's ended for black men, but not for black women.
The infections I got because the nurses didn’t clean me properly were totally natural. Just don’t mention the near blindness...
