This is why when my nephews and niece were little I would never buy them stuff for their birthdays I would treat them to an experience. We’d go to an indoor amusement park for the day or a movie of their choosing, or a carnival. They are teenagers now and still look back on those memories fondly.

I think the story was really misrepresented in the media.

Apparently he started living with them when he turned 18. He and Krissy have been friends since they were 12. When he graduated high school he was kicked out of his house and Whitney and Krissy took him in. He's been living with them ever since.
