came here to say that
We'll it looks like there actually is an option (per "pispuso's" post). So that's good.
The reason (or part of the reason) some people use ad blocker apps like this is to eliminate data usage from the ads, which this app won't do. From the description, it sound slike this app strips out the ads after they've reached your device (it would seem like that would have to be the case if it's using a local…
Ugh... I wish people would stop using AdFree. AdAway is better and doesn't look like hell (seriously, to say AdFree is an eyesore would be putting it lightly). AdAway also has the Whitson Gordon stamp of approval... http://lifehacker.com/5851038/how-to-block-ads-in-android-browsers-and-apps

That wouldn't be possible had this one not already been written. So it was probably just re-posted today for spy week.

I'll have to check this out. Parkdroid used to be pretty much the gold standard in parking apps, but it hasn't been updated in almost two years.
I was wondering the same thing
Why is the last point the most important? Who doesn't spend at least $40 over 6 months?
Why would someone not accept them?
"It's articles like these that discredit the UFO hypothesis more that anything else"
You mentioned the earlier article that covers a similar method, but not the one from a few months ago that claimed to be "better and more detailed" than that method:
