Yea I got it. As I was writing the original comment, I was thinking the same thing, that this isn't exactly what an elipsis means, but close enough.

Where did I say that an ICS home screen can't look like that? I said there's nothing there to make anyone think it's ICS, and therefore there's no reason to explicitly point out that it's not ICS... and that just saying "I'm running CM7 port of Gingerbread 2.3.7" would have been fine.

the term "lol" is pretty commonplace

I think the two things I pointed out were pretty valid. For someone writing about android, he should probably understand what the action overflow is. And, saying "if you don't have swype preinstalled, just use something else" is dumb when swype is free to download. Again, another thing that someone writing about

That's fine.

not that I did it for ease, but those two keystrokes are closer together

They wouldn't care either. It's not like there's anything on there that would confuse them and make them be like "wait a sec... how did you do that?"

I suppose, but the main point is that elipsis="more"

lol @ the term "nuclear detector"

"Im not running ICS"

thanks, Lifehacker :)

"Why do three dots represent a menu? I have no idea, but it does."

First: That's what you get for buying a white phone. Buying a white anything is just asking for stains, but when that thing is something that you handle all day long, it's not asking, it's begging.

I saw the title and came here expecting a little more than "just don't buy it from them" :-/

Whats going on with that nyan cat widget? Does it do anything or just kinda keep going infinitely?

I'm sure all those rare-meat fanatics will chastise me for this, but I'm gonna say it anyway...

Sweet headset, guy. What do you think this is, an infomercial?

not at all... the "i" and the "p" handle the picture much differently

My guess would be that devices that have a 1080i option don't have a 1080p option... hence you much choose between 1080i and 720p.
