My guess would be that devices that have a 1080i option don't have a 1080p option... hence you much choose between 1080i and 720p.

I probably would have picked any of the other "Common Mistakes" to highlight in the title...

I couldn't go without it for a week, let alone a year.

Since always. Why, what do you use?

I always examine the route before I leave to make sure I like the way it's taking me. I just wish the Google Maps app had the same click-and-drag-to-change-routes functionality that the website has... I don't like only having a couple predetermined routes to choose from.

Changes that you make in Google Map Maker get reflected in Maps right away (after approval), but they only get pushed out to Directions, Navigation, etc. a couple times a year (and they don't tell you when)

If only it could translate broken english to english... then I'd finally be able to understand all those emails from my nigerian prince uncle

"substituting half of the water you'd normally with ice" sounds like pretty much the same thing as double-brewing coffee the conventional way and then sticking it in the fridge (and adding ice when you go to drink it)

I typically only use IE for integration with other Windows/Microsoft stuff. It works better with Outlook Web Access. It works better with Sharepoint. And like you pointed out, it has those partnerships with some sites to integrate better with Windows itself.

I use the "Open All in Tabs" method. Other than xkcd, I cant think of anything I wouldn't want to see every day.

Better title...

I just want to take a moment to comment on "on8wingedangel's" comment without replying to him because I don't want to approve that...

The "cursor drift" issue isn't a real problem. It can be fixed by changing your mouse sensitivity setting or just learning how to use a freakin' mouse.

"and hopefully you've got a strong enough exhaust or plentiful ventilation to handle the smoke."

Well I suppose that's a legitimate use case.

Yes. A lot of GUI text editors (at least the ones I use) can connect to remote servers. You could also mount the network directory on your local machine.

That's not what I was looking for at all. I thought I was very clear.

I'll never understand why people use terminal text editors

That would probably work for someone who's watching over your shoulder. But with a camera, they can replay it as many times as they need to... depending on the quality of the camera, the may be able to tell which one you are pressing.
