From what I’m reading on Twitter that thing’s a goner. Apparently the company did not pay for the manufacturer to build a forward viewport rated for the pressure at depths of 4000m. The one it went down with was only rated to around 1300m. At least at that depth it would be instantaneous.

A buddy of mine is still getting over the Norovirus after getting it back at the end of January/first two days of February. He actually ended up passing out in the ER waiting room and then spent the next two days in the hospital getting pumped full of fluids. He still feels like he got dragged by a semi.
