Gotcha. Yeah even at the high end, scotch comes from different regions that have massively different flavor profiles(think wine, with like a dry red vs a sweet white).

Out of curiosity, what did you try? Its an incredibly diverse spirit, with flavor profiles ranging all over the place.

The problem is you wouldnt be able to bring a good single malt to market for ~12 years, and you wouldn’t be able to bring anything high end to market for 18-25 years...

In fairness, you could wait 6 months and buy it, and still be the first person to discover most of the things you encounter. The game is *that* big.
