I’ve always been very fond of Wes Craven’s Shocker (starring a pre-X-Files Mitch Pileggi as a serial killer who can travel via elecricity) and am kinda surprised it hasn’t been remade/rebooted.

I also had my doubts when they cast Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, but he has turned out to be brilliant in that role. My favorite on-screen portrayal of Luther, so I’m willing to give it a chance!

I second this hope.

Please cast David Ramsey as the John Stewart Green Lantern in the new Greg Berlanti show ... Greg Berlanti? I guess that is who I am addressing this to

Hey, Disney. Just give it to Dave Filoni. He’ll be waaaay cheaper, less of a diva, and more likely to continue producing amazing, cohesive, entertaining Star Wars content like he has since day one. And he’s already working for you, and getting along with Jon Favreau, Deborah Chow, and Taika Waititi.

Because the fangirls would have a hissy fit.

Agreed.

Why is it that no writer at any point was ever willing to just commit to Kylo being a villain? He’s a wretched little rat bastard, he doesn’t need redemption just because his grandad did. Just let him be evil!

So many of these angry nerd videos feel like they have a nugget of truth, as if they’ve identified a legitimate issue, but then they draw all the wrong conclusions.

The original movie wasn’t awful - and would have been simply another forgettable 80s kids movie... but then this little, obscure incident happened after the film was in the can that should have changed Space Camp’s launch trajectory:

Another writers strike? Guys, I don't think Heroes will be the same after this one.

“Does anyone remember the name of the indie sci-fi movie there was a trailer for a couple of months back: It was a continuous shot moving through a small american town at dusk and concluding as it reached the doors of a high school gymnasium where people were watching a game.”

Re: Leviathan & DeepStar 6 vs. The Abyss...

I’m pretty sure she probably said to herself “I hate this, but do I 5 million dollars hate this?” - and ended up doing it.

I’m still mad they thought it’d be weird if they replaced THE SHAPESHIFTER. It’s the easiest character to recast, ever!

I still want a series with Ahsoka and Sabine exploring the edge of the Galaxy looking for Ezra and Thrawn.

The David Gerrold post I read had it slightly different, it’s a very touching post as well. :

When I was a kid getting into Science Fiction, I quickly realized that if a writers name is 2 initials and a surname like D.C. Fontana, A.C. Crispin, V.C. Andrews and J.K. Rowling, the writer is most likely a woman.

Rachel Bloom as Power Girl!
