To be fair, the Falcon's hyperdrive is not exactly a standard piece of equipment. I can't remember where, but it was explained that a lot of the troubles come from the fact that it is highly modified (which is how the Falcon can reach such exceptional/abnormally high speeds).

I'm surprised nobody else sees it as also a back-up plan.  If his attempt to kill Jesse/Jack/The Nazis doesn't work he's still taking "control" of their methylamine supply.  At the very least he'll make it very difficult for them to keep making money off of *his* product.
