You, sir, are on the wrong site. If Beethoven could compose works of art while deaf, you can bang a tune out on the ivories minus a finger. I managed to play for a month with my pinky in a splint, and I'm far more proud of that feat than just my ability to play.

@KennyT772: How would that bend the arms? They see far higher loads when driven in anger. In a pinch, I've raised an STi, Tacoma, Skyline, Evo 8, and Regal GS using the arms as jack points with no issue. The Evo also gets jacked up by the arms in non-pinch situations, but that's not my choice...
