All that matters in any given season is having the most points at the end. In that 2003-2004 season, Arsenal also had the most points of any team in the PL, too. And they didn’t lose.

Kane getting hurt might be the best thing that happened to their season. It forced Poch to shake up his lineup and not trot out the same lineup time and time again. They dropped those points in no small part due to most of their starting XI having been playing high-level soccer for the better part of two years.
