I’d also recommend not reading the comments here!
Are you kidding me? Do you swing by the reviewer who adores JRPGs and give him the same shit when he reviews the latest Trails in the Sky? Do you say this crap to anyone else? If not, take your smarmy self right on out of here mister.
So you’d rather it was reviewed by someone who doesn’t like Pokemon? When I read a review of a game I’d rather it was written by someone with good knowledge of the subject matter.
So, some clarification. I’m a fan of the culture more than the games. I don’t necessarily think a game is good just because it’s Pokemon. Pokemon Go, for example, is kind of garbage, mechanically speaking.
Salt farming after a banwave in pretty much any game is literally my favorite type of Kotaku article. Nothing is sweeter than people who knowingly and willingly did something they knew could get them in trouble entitledly screaming about getting in trouble.
Pikachu rejoices at the salt harvest.
Before I clicked in “Can’t wait to see this, it’ll be a bunch of 4chan posts complaining that Nintendo banned them and that they feel they shouldn’t be banned”
