Cracking on a flat is better for the one-handed method, but I still get little shells in. Probably need to practice more.

@Platypus Man: Yeah, I think if you wash everything in cold water, there's no real need to sort for bleeding and shrinkage and stuff.
@smschanda001: zip up the zippers on anything with zippers (sweatshirts, jeans, etc), that'll solve that ripping problem. or put delicates in laundry nets.
Is this fashionhacker? Hmm.
is calling something "comfort food" an excuse to eat poorly? hmm.
recycle your milk jugs. aren't they 10¢??
after 5 days have passed.
I think expecting bad behaviour is safer than when you're not expecting it. It makes you more alert - you're paying attention to other drivers on the road, expecting them to cut in on you dangerously or something, and you're more prepared to hit the brakes (or you've already slowed down). I mostly cycle in the city,…
stay safe out there! :)
I guess I'm a wuss. I can't do this. I guess I'm also a city-dweller, so if I'm driving on these roads, I'm never in a hurry to get anywhere. And if I were, I'd rather get there alive.
If you're eating out, you're paying a premium for not having to schlep all the ingredients home from your market, prepping them (cut, wash), and watching the extras that you couldn't finish go to waste.
I doubt targus laptop bags were intended for long-haul schlepping around. Try crumpler or timbuktu, which have straps made for comfort. You can add pads on to the crumpler ones, AFAIK.
I used to think I was so clever, folding letters (not exactly this way, but similar results) into their own envelopes. The people I sent them to couldn't figure out how to open them. Chances are people will just rip it up.
1. Yes.
Main things, I think:
It's very rare that suspended time will count on the contract.
@wererogue: Reading and being read to in bed is one of the best things ever. We've done Poe and Lovecraft, and have moved on to Stephen King. If you think you can do full-length novels, and if you like creepy with a bit of science, try Koji Suzuki's The Ring series.
@zakany001: well said!
Interesting. I export my PDFs from openoffice, and I read them with Okular. I really like the way Okular handles fonts and graphics, as well as its various other useful stuff like bookmarks and markup ability.
I almost always buy used (and retro). Craigslist or the local 2ndhand stores are great for this stuff. Sometimes you can find a goldmine in your local Goodwill.
