No, gmail's spam filters do everything for me.
@MrBrownSound: a view of cats is pretty awesome, imho!
@acidrain69: great idea, signing up now.
Living in downtown Toronto, my commute's pretty reasonable. I bike in dry and warm weather (above 5°c), take public transit otherwise. Transit's pretty annoying (thanks to other people), but it's the most affordable way to get around - apart from biking, which isn't always possible for a fair-weather rider.
Cool. Need one of these for Toronto. We have a stripped desktop - the PSU died, and we've removed the HD. What to do with the rest of it?
Was this photo taken in a studio against a drop sheet? heh. So much fill light.
EL is awesome. Wonder why it's not more readily available (where the heck do I get this stuff?), and why don't more consumer-end stuff already have it?
@JustinC: I have a Thinkpad T60, and it's served me well for 4 years. I've lugged it all over north america, southeast asia, and the UK. I've spilt a glass of water on it. It works great.
@robosteven: For my computer-related goods, I like newegg.ca. I also like Canada Computers, on College and Augusta downtown. And a bunch of other places, too.
@PrairieMoon: I once went to a school where they had this thing called a bogwash. You can figure that one out. Luckily it never happened to me.
After moving to Canada from a tropical country, I've finally learnt to just use my keys. The place I get zapped most is at my office, particularly on the door handle, so I just tap my keys on the handle before I grasp it.
@pvliii: I do this, too! "Bye, I gotta go... F*CK!" when I reach for my office door handle. It's a bit embarrassing.
Let google browse you! Haw!
@battra92: haha, I worked in the printing computer labs when I was an undergrad, too. Best job ever. Surf the net, play games, study, write essays, free printing. So awesome.
It used to be my cellphone, so I could be reached (and easily reach it) at anytime; plus it works as an alarm clock. Now I've banished it from the bedroom. It really can wait.
@sygyzy: well, mine was one of the ones highlighted under the lousy passwords list (um, qwerty-variant). Was referring to that.
Hmm, on one hand, yeah, I'm one of those with the leaked, lousy passwords; on the other hand, I knew it was a lousy password because it's not really that important an account (gawker is not my bank, for example, nor my email). Still warranted a bit of a wig-out and quick password changes all around.
@Tsylord: Seems like it's only open to US residents.
I look forward to my cup of coffee every morning. That gets me out of bed. It's definitely not crucial to stimulating me (although I've noticed the headaches on the mornings I don't drink it, which is probably a bad sign), but it's just something I really enjoy. Like a reward for getting out of bed.
