did you know that Kara is on a podcast now called Keep It? i was listening yesterday and this woman was talking about the times she wrote for Jezebel and it turns out it is Kara.

Benatar may have become pop - but in the beginning she was straight up rock in a world with few female rockers. Her first few albums are amazing - In the Heat of the Night, Crimes of Passion and Precious Time.  Then Get Nervous came out and that was more poppy - but still awesome. but i am, obviously, a huge fan.

your friend is also a bad ass!   although, i feel a little bad for the shark. it was just doing what a shark does. but, self defense is a valid justification :)

Pat Benatar was also a pioneer for girl rockers. just saying.
