so with the hormonal IUD 2 out of 100 women become pregnant. For the implant, 1 out of 100 women become pregnant. that implant is even more effective than a vasectomy. Wow. I may need to do the implant instead of the IUD when it is time to take out the IUD.

why not consider the non-hormone paragard IUD?

question - anyone? i had the mirena put in and went back a week later for the doctor to make sure it was still there. she couldn’t find the strings, said she cut them too short. had to go have a vaginal ultrasound to make sure it was still there and it was. My question is - will i now have to go back to the vaginal…
