Even though he was small of stature
Why do people always mention Prince's height?

Dumbo, yes, that was some fucked uppery.

Yeah, that makes sense. Bambi, which I saw at 3 or 4 at a matinee if I remember correctly, had me and the whole theatre crying.

I wish I enjoyed Beyonce's music since the visual narrative of Lemonade is very compelling stuff.

    For Your Grandmama

I've never understood the "traumatizing" reputation of the movie.

Yes, Iron Fist fits it to precisely. Strange I always read as being more Orientalist.

Fair point about the production issues. I've always liked Strange but I was never aware of a huge fandom, but I hope you're right.

I've never gotten that vibe from Dr. Strange, especially with the Ancient One always being in control; he possessed more agency than Strange from what I recall and was never really threatened by anyone or thing. I also always thought the WS trope had more racial overtones to it; e.g. he's saving inferior peoples,

Look at Ant-Man, great film, but it is one of the lowest earning pieces of the MCU

I'm a giant nerd and, unfortunately, my love of all-things Marvel washes away any sense of moral consumerism. I guess I could always pirate it and negotiate between the ethical question of screwing over artists vs screwing over Disney and China.

Oh, no, I agree. It's fucked that economics are trumping the better moral choices, but that's the sick, sad world we're in.

China is kind of a big deal as a market.

Not really, Lanister had the support of the broader rebellion and the discontent of the entire kingdoms for his "dishonourable" action, whereas Thorne represents a small faction that the Watch as a whole won't willingly support. Thornes advantage is the lack of other leaders in the Watch, besides an outsider like

Unfortunately that's not how honour codes work, they're not open to reason for the most part. They're all assassins guilty of treason by the standards of the land and will be treated as oathbreakers.

He's an oath breaker and knows it.

Nomads are probably offended by the endless epithets of the "powerful" and "civilized".

She wasn't scared of them, knew their language, and has a unique appearance for the region. The dothraki, and other people on the show, are also extremely superstitious and are supposed to follow strict religious and/or honor codes. Course, many people ignore these things to maintain their power, but the Dothraki

It's symbolic. The gem loses it's color as she is literally reflecting.
