There are an incredible number of people out there who have confused liking The Office for a personality. It’s at least useful in terms of filtering out anyone on a dating app who says they’re “looking for their Pam/Jim.”

It’s fine to like something. The problem comes down to the fans. People base their entire personality off being a fan of one of those two shows. 

The interesting thing about The Office is how its popularity seemed to come back in a huge wave with younger audiences years after it ended. I feel like people forget just how much its popularity faded by the last two seasons when it was still on the air.

The writers aren’t a hive-mind, they can have different opinions about stuff.

...They did? I mean there were reviews for positive episodes, but even back then I think the reception of the finale was pretty negative by the site writers at the time.

Dissenting opinion that Superbad is not some comedy masterpiece and giving it a sequel would have done very little to damage our cultural landscape.

I would’ve gone with This is 40, the Knocked Up sequel no one remembers seeing.

Yeah, I think people are going to complain no matter what. Personally, I don’t think any amount of money or effort is ever going to make stretchy powers look good in real life. Rita is an interesting example, because she usually looks terrible, and it’s only by virtue of the fact that she’s supposed to be wildly bad…

Eh, as long as they don’t mess with Squirrel Girl.  I don’t need some new Doreen firing squirrel shaped energy blasts out of her wrist-squirrels.

Ditto - her personality and her relationships.

It seems like she might be the MCU’s answer to Quasar. Which, if that’s the case, sounds good. Honestly what I like about Ms. Marvel is her personality. The power set is not a big a deal to me.

Fun! I’m looking forward to this new incarnation of The Doctor.

If I understand correctly, she chose to leave with Chibnall. It’s not like she’s being fired. (But it is a tough break that she got such a shitty showrunner that she never really got to shine as the Doctor.)

This rocks because the people who will get mad about it (racist doctor who fans) are essentially by definition the most pathetic losers on earth

Or if you paid a tiny bit more attention you could figure out that those are the names of the books that the movie series is and will be based on.
