It’s fine to like something. The problem comes down to the fans. People base their entire personality off being a fan of one of those two shows.

As someone that got into MCU in 2021, I have some concerns in the lack of overall focus, but it’s also possible it’s just because I mainlined the entire Infinity Saga in one year lol

People ask the question of what’s next after Endgame while missing that Phases 1-3 took 10 years of storytelling to get there. It was 6 years before Thanos actually had a line of dialogue in Guardians of the Galaxy and he only appeared in about 1/6th of the movies released in that time, mostly as cameos.

The writers aren’t a hive-mind, they can have different opinions about stuff.

...They did? I mean there were reviews for positive episodes, but even back then I think the reception of the finale was pretty negative by the site writers at the time.

If this were sports, this would be the rebuild year(s). The old pros have moved on, time to introduce new heroes, greater threats, etc. The only downside, unlike the comics, that this takes so much time. It will be years before we get another End Game payoff.

Until then we need to be happy with our wins, and our

Dissenting opinion that Superbad is not some comedy masterpiece and giving it a sequel would have done very little to damage our cultural landscape.

Gwyneth Paltrow and exciting don’t belong in the same sentence.

I would’ve gone with This is 40, the Knocked Up sequel no one remembers seeing.

‘Well that’s like saying don’t make the second episode of the The Sopranos. Like, so why do you think we would screw up the second one?’”

No, Judd, it’s like saying don’t make Anchorman 2.

Yeah, I think people are going to complain no matter what. Personally, I don’t think any amount of money or effort is ever going to make stretchy powers look good in real life. Rita is an interesting example, because she usually looks terrible, and it’s only by virtue of the fact that she’s supposed to be wildly bad

Eh, as long as they don’t mess with Squirrel Girl.  I don’t need some new Doreen firing squirrel shaped energy blasts out of her wrist-squirrels.

Ditto - her personality and her relationships.

It seems like she might be the MCU’s answer to Quasar. Which, if that’s the case, sounds good. Honestly what I like about Ms. Marvel is her personality. The power set is not a big a deal to me.

This is Set It Up erasure

The first trailer made it look like Thor had a bit of a crush on Starlord.

Jane Foster + Valkyrie.

I mean, two problems with what you’re saying there:

He’s older than Smith was when he took the part.

He is British. He’s from Scotland, his family’s from Rwanda. He’s the 4th Scottish Doctor after McCoy, Tennant and Capaldi.
