While the relationship between the two parties was certainly fraught before and Dana White bears a ton of responsibility for the treatment of Cyborg, I also think that the video Cyborg’s team released of that Dana/Cyborg discussion was probably a point of no return. It also frustrates the hell out of me as I seriously

All the above article says is that there are meritorious criticisms of Barack Obama to be made. That’s true.

Doctors are just part of the story, nurses in secondary markets are hard to recruit to secondary markets, one hospital in Champaign, IL needs 100 more nurses to fit the needs of an established hospital. To staff 3 beds you need 4 or 5 nurses to cover the 24 hours 7 days a week, not considering vacations and personal

I suspect that an undisclosed factor here is the rise of ambulatory medicine. More and more procedures are being done outside of hospitals. Overall it’s probably much better for patients with easier access and things that used to require extended stays becoming overnight or outpatient procedures. Unfortunately the

It may mean M4All has to change their pay schedules, but that doesn’t rule it out either. I also wonder if rural hospitals are struggling because they don’t have enough patients, or don’t have enough paying patients. I suspect it’s the second, which means gets something from Medicare (even less than private rate), is

HamNo, did they not teach you in journalism school that you can’t plagiarize from yourself? Like..Legit the definition of the word prohibits it, man.

Show all of the books. Show the gates. Show the merchandise. Show literally every dollar made off of the games - men and women. Then, pay them the same percentage of the revenue. That’s the truly fair way. If the women are bringing in as much or more than the men, then they should be paid as much or more. If this ends

The guy who promotes artificial hype in service of hand-to-hand combat for profit is a bully? The hell you say!

Maybe I’m just tired of the shitshow that is the Trump presidency, but I’m sick that the response to his bullshit mostly comes in the form of strongly-worded letters highlighting Trump’s greatest racists hits and platitudes about how we as Americans must “Rise above hate”.

She was the second least popular nominee in recent history, and won the popular vote against the least popular candidate, who managed to win the right states for an electoral win. People seem to forget she was historically unpopular.

I think 3 time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl Champion Michael Bennett has a better shot at winning the nomination than this guy

Alright, thanks for the thoughts. I do enjoy learning and being able to ask questions and not being attacked or accused of being a troll or a Bernie Bro, or a Russian spy, or what usually goes on around here. :)

This is a really ugly look for him.

The #MeToo movement involved occasionally disproportionate punishments for a variety of crimes and misdemeanors that were previously ignored. The fact that #MeToo swept up serial rapists and handsy creeps at the same time was the consequence of having previously ignored an endless tide of harassment and abuse. The

I don’t know... with all the crazy anti-science rhetoric and lies becoming so widespread and commonplace (people drinking bleach and others not taking vaccines). Maybe we need folks like Neil to talk more not less.

Hard disagree. This country is woefully uninformed about science, and that leads to the anti-vaccination movement and climate change denials, among many other problems. NDT is obviously being pedantic with this, but it draws attention to being informed and accurate about representation of physics principles.

Counterpoint: NDT has taught me many things, and Jack Crosbie has not enriched my life in literally any conceivable way.

I find myself where you are. I know it’s not an apples to apples comparison, but I own a restaurant, and I too have a strict no politics rule for my floor staff. I’d say that both me, my staff, and hell 90% of my crowd are likely on the same page politically too, all quite progressive, but even if we were 100% in

I value culture and minority populations right to preserve their own belief systems.
