Isn’t the golden age of labor that prople revere, post WW2 till the 70’s?
Isn’t the golden age of labor that prople revere, post WW2 till the 70’s?
Outside of Jimmy Carter, hard to name a POTUS that didn’t do things that are downright immoral and have a high likelihood to violate the Geneva convention. The scale of Bush’s screw up at this point, is worse than Trump in terms of the immediate impact that happened during his term, but Obama escalated the drone war…
They aren’t military but they were clearly part of the military industrial complex and oil as it relates to Rice and Chevron. Old white dudes getting away with stuff happens for sure, though I do think a lot of it can be people get the justice or don’t get the justice, based on what they can or can’t afford.
It isn’t ideal but Trump for whatever reason seems to have endless energy. He’ll continue to ask “if Bernie is ok” going fwd
Had this happened to Biden, his campaign would be over. We would generally expect that the president be healthier than the average person and Bernie is 78 going on 88. He just had a heart attack and the election cycle is in the early going. This is bad for his health and not a good indicator of his ability to hold or…
Clapper was in a tough spot because he was following orders and overseeing a classified program. He was asked a question in a public hearing about a classified program from someone in the know, which puts him in a terrible situation. Whether Clapper agreed with the program or not, it isn’t his call, at that point he…
America is a pig sty so that will be a losing proposition
Hard for Biden to hit Trump on corruption and his family when he may be less dirty but is still dirty. Hunter is a dirt ball and knowing people who went to Archmere with him (his prep high school), apparently the guy was and has been an entitled asshole. His entire entry into the military was a joke and showed extreme …
I am sure that is some of this but after the genetic test/Pocahontas, in a campaign against a troll, I expect Trump will chew Warren up because she’ll be trying to write a restaurant review in the middle of a food fight.
Because the data keeps showing, that Dem primary voters seem to be more based on identity rather than policy. Biden/Bernie and then Warren (Harris, etc). More income/education tends to go with Warren where working class, particularly men are aligned with Biden/Bernie.
It is still really early.
Not a Warren fan but this looks like some stunt that Barstool would try to pull. There is not likely to be any information or evidence behind the claims and it just looks and sounds ridiculous.
It would be interesting to see what would happen if corporate membership requirements were put in place to give workers voting rights. That effectively makes workers partners in a partnership model from a voting perspective. Likely this would only be enforceable for public companies and I wouldn’t be surprised to see…
It depends. If you have a non-compete but upon leaving, your previous employer is compelled to pay you for a specific period of time, then that isn’t terrible. I left a company after being offered a job with better pay from the competitor, and while it was only 3 months, I had a non-compete and got three months paid…
Reasonable is the key word though. You can convict with doubts but is the doubt reasonable?
They just laid off 6k workers in Mexico which could be a nod to the executive. They were on day 16 with 78 days of supply in the market.
So if she is drunk is it still reasonable? Castle Doctrine is garbage here especially given how many warning signs there were. The door mat, decor, and the guy eating ice cream wouldn’t lead a reasonable person to shoot. This wasn’t a reasonable assumption given the situation.
25 years? If this was a DUI manslaughter or vehicular homicide, the sentence would likely be longer and parole after 5 years wouldn’t be an option.
Maybe I missed it but have never read the results of a toxicology examination.
Fired ten shots. 4 hit the deceased. Each of the parents were wounded. Your point was you were adding facts and they’re actually covered here and it wouldn’t fundamentally change a decision in regards to murder or manslaughter charges.
