I would fucking love to have a lab coat that is shaped to fit a person with hips. Sure, the captions with the lab coats are terrible, but the idea is actually really great, and folks who wear lab coats and have curves know this.

Same! The men’s coats we wear don’t have any give, and I can feel the material pulling around my hips, which pulls on my shoulders, and then I’ve got shit posture. I hate them. I WANT something with some stretch, or at least tailored for these hips!

Women’s lab coats have slits as well, though I don’t actually like them, because I just end up getting stuck on handles everywhere. I haven’t ever worn a women’s lab coat, but I suspect a lot of the issues I currently have with mine would not be issues anymore (fucking giant, but still too tight around the hips,

How do people not understand that “vodka” is the fucking preservative?!

Decriminalization means there’s nothing inherently criminalized about sex work, whereas legalization typically requires lots of bureaucratic hoops to jump through, which ends up giving a lot of power and control to the state and the police (who have terrible records of abusing sex workers). In effect, the state still

It certainly doesn’t seem like you were talking about trafficking victims in regards to “management of disease,” since you’re so certain there is a current problem with disease. You admitted you don’t know anything about the topic, I asked you to not propagate harmful stereotypes, and you patronize me by telling me to

Sex workers get tested more regularly than the general population, so maybe step back with the stereotypical, inaccurate ideas that sex workers are full of disease? Thx.
Also, decriminalization is what most sex workers themselves often advocate for, not legalization. http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/feminism/2015/10

That’s why most people involved in the sex trade actually want decriminalization, not legalization.

My 9.5 year old beagle is a lil’ overweight, after years of being very strict about people food. In the past 3ish years, I’ve become a bit more lenient (he’s so sweet! food makes him so happy!!!), and he’s definitely plumped up a bit. It takes soooo much work to get them back in shape, especially as they get older, so

Ok, I’m with you, but please don’t appropriate #SayHerName like this. These are both important issues, but we don’t need to (and should not) lump them together as if they’re one in the same.

Well, dammit, now I have to buy it! ;)

Hah! I answered “lesbian farmer blogs.”

I have been told (by my doctor) not to do this with the type of birth control in the photo, that I should only do it with the type of BC that is all the exact same pill/color/strength for the entire 3 weeks. I don’t know the real reason behind that decision, I just took my new Rx and went on my happy way!

You have to take these pills at the same time everyday, so not doing something for a week can mess up that routine. Also, echoing what others have already said, many women feel too weirded out by not having a period every month, because it’s “unnatural” and also because it’s a more tangible way of letting the birth

I’m going to ask my Dr. about this, bc I’ve been paying for 3 months out of pocket! Which isn’t the worst thing, but I’d like to not do that.

We can only hope...

That’s exactly what Pinecone was saying, though. Those laws “only work if...”, and they don’t.

If you read the comment, you can tell that that was the point.
