Just for the record, there are actually women’s professional football teams/leagues. The Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL) and Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) are the two largest leagues. And it’s 11-on-11, full pads, tackle football... with clothes on. (I am a woman and I’ve played in both leagues.)
