Actually, no. Its an opportunity to innovate and create new markets and opportunities.

Yes. Move in to new markets, innovate within new industries. That’s what called progress.
If that’s the case then that industry is no longer competitive at those wages. The alternative is to invest those resources (including human capital) in to other ventures.
NAFTA only screwed greedy, lazy bargaining unit workers who’d rather devote more effort to squeezing their employers than putting in an honest days work.
Even under the fast-track legislation the text still has to be made public for at least 90 days.
Nice to see the UAW’s social media bots (both digital and breathing) have been mobilized to flood message boards and comment sections with utter bullshit.
They’ve graded and smooth out the transition a lot since the early 90’s but we would do pass after pass over the “Blundell bump” in my ‘85 Prelude. We’d only get 6-10” off the ground but it felt like you were 6-10’ in the air. The rear tow hook was ground off flat after a half dozen passes...my dad just couldn’t…
It would seem the US’s only option to hasten Russia’s pretty much take over of Syria would be to troops on the ground. I’m doubtful even Putin would risk a strike on US troops knowing it would require a military retaliation.

Well, truther or not, automobiles only account for ~15-18% of GHG emissions globally. The cumulative impact of all EPA automobile regulations on global emissions is estimated at less than 1% but comes at a substantial financial cost to business and inevitably consumers.
We simply need you to end silly comment making.
With the amount of competitive research that takes place in this industry there is no way that all the other auto manufactures didn’t know what VW was up to. They all reverse engineer each others shit.
That and a V10 will likely be a $995 option while the diesel will be a $9000 option
But the commercial diesel wont come with as many luxury options as a range rover (well, a rangerover with lots more hard plastic at least...)
“They can’t choose not to test everything due to lobbyists, obviously...”
Should they do the same thing to GM for, you know, killing >100 Americans?
